Lessons with a clear focus.
Live lessons are 45 minutes long. We want teaching to feel purposeful and engaging, without assuming that longer always means better.

It was born from a school experience
we never forgot.

Ivy High began with a simple question: What would school look like if we could build it again, from the student's point of view?
Growing up, we had our own struggles with mainstream schools. We know what it feels like when a school environment simply isn't the right fit — and we also saw how difficult that could be for our parents.
Our parents wanted the best for us, but finding somewhere that offered the right combination of education, support, flexibility and understanding wasn't easy.
Looking back, a school like Ivy High could have made a real difference to us and to our families.
That experience stayed with us. Years later, it became part of the reason we decided to create the kind of school we wish had been available to families like ours.
Live lessons are 45 minutes long. We want teaching to feel purposeful and engaging, without assuming that longer always means better.
Four days of live teaching provide a consistent routine, while Fridays leave space for focused learning, revision and life beyond lessons.
Friendships matter, but socialising isn't effortless for everyone. Clubs, activities and organised meet-ups give students different ways to connect and belong.
Not every need is visible, and not every child has a diagnosis. We aim to listen carefully, work with families and consider what adjustments may help each student participate and progress.
Through engaging teaching and an education that works for them.
To a supportive school community where they're recognised as an individual.
Academically and personally, developing the confidence to take their next step.
We cannot change the school experience our team had. But we can use what it taught us to create a better experience for the next generation.
That is why Ivy High exists.
